Here are a few excerpts:
Talk about a change. Sari Robins switched from a career as a tax lawyer and
legislative lobbyist to write romance novels.
Her first book, "Her Scandalous Intentions," published last December, has
already received considerable recognition, including its selection as a Best
of the Best of 2002's Romance Books reviewed by the Oakland Press. It is also
being translated into Russian, and Robins reports that sales have "exceeded
her expectations."
. . .
Robins, a Brooklyn, N.Y. native, especially likes the Jane Austin Regency
period in England with the excitement of war, espionage, undermining Napolean,
and the high society of the time. And, she likes happy endings.
"I like women who made a mark within that time period despite all the
restrictions," she said.
. . .
Her second book, "All Men Are Rogues," is due out in August and her publisher,
Avons/HarperCollins, has signed her on for two more books.
